The nominations have been announced for The BRIT Awards 2023 with Mastercard.
Wet Leg and Harry Styles are both up for four BRIT Awards each, while there are first-ever noms for Blackpink, Eliza Rose, Gabriels, Gayle, Jack Harlow, Kojey Radical, Mimi Webb, Nova Twins, and Sam Ryder.
Wet Leg comment: “Somebody hold our horses while we get to grips with this wild news, being nominated for a BRIT award is too hard to comprehend, we never could have expected for our wee band to achieve this.”
The winners of the four genre categories – Rock/Alternative Act, Hip Hop/Grime/Rap Act, Dance Act, Pop/R&B Act – will be determined by a public vote via TikTok, which will open on Thursday 19th January at midday.
All winners will be revealed at The BRIT Awards on Saturday 11th February at The O2 arena, broadcast on ITV and ITVX, and hosted by Mo Gilligan.
