The South Korean television network SBS released the opening title sequence for Bastions today (April 14th).

BTS are set to contribute a song as part of the soundtrack for the upcoming South Korean animated series Bastions.

The South Korean television network SBS released the opening title sequence for Bastions today (April 14th), featuring an as-yet-untitled track sung by the band. It will be the group’s first release as a full group since their anthology album ‘Proof’ in June 2022.

“BTS is expected to provide an overwhelming sense of immersion to the emotions and action scenes of the series by singing the theme song in perfect harmony,” said a statement from the show’s production company Timos Media to Yonhap News Agency.

The soundtrack for Bastions is set to feature an array of K-pop artists including LE SSERAFIM, Brave Girls, Heize, AleXa and more. Notably, it will include Brave Girls’ first songs since leaving Brave Entertainment.

The Bastions animated series will follow a rookie superhero who uncovers the identity of a villain responsible for environmental destruction and sets out to save the Earth. It will premiere on South Korean television network SBS on May 14th.
