BTS’ V will drop his first solo album, ‘Layover’, next month

It will feature six songs, including one bonus track.

BTS’ V is set to drop his first solo album ‘Layover’ on 8th September.

Featuring six songs – ‘Rainy Days’, ‘Blue’, ‘Love Me Again’, ‘Slow Dancing’, ‘For Us’ and a bonus track – it’s recommended fans listen to the songs in order.

A press release describes ‘Slow Dancing’ as the record’s “focus track”, detailing it as a “1970s romantic soul” style effort with “a laid-back and free-spirited feeling”.

It goes on to explain ‘Rainy Days’ matches V’s vocal to “the sound of rain and everyday white noises”, ‘Blue’ is “a homage to old school R&B with a modern twist”, ‘Love Me Again’ is “a captivating R&B track that highlights V’s low pitch voice”, and ‘For Us’ is “a pop R&B track that serves as an epilogue, stirring up deep emotions with V’s vocals and unique lyrics”.

The final bonus track is a piano version of ‘Slow Dancing’.

Each of the five main tracks will have its own official music video.
