Dublin-based band Cable Boy have announced their debut album, ‘Forever’, set for release on 17th April.

The group – Semilore Olusa, Liam Murray, Corneille Tshibasu, Jason Aikhionbare, and Fionn McLoughlin – are shifting towards a heavier sound, described by the band as ‘goth disco’.

Of lead single ‘Something In My Head’, they explain, “‘Something in my Head’ is about watching and absorbing life-changing news and several atrocities every day on every social media app and feed while feeling powerless to do anything but watch, donate and boycott. The chorus is a response to the verse; ‘I can be cool just where I am, weather is cooler where I stand, keeping it cool, that’s who I am’ is a tongue in cheek comment on how we absorb these things as artists; being aware but also not really doing anything.”
