Catfish and the Bottlemen have a Number One album

The band describe the news as "class", obviously.
Catfish and the Bottlemen have scored a Number One album in this week’s chart.

‘The Ride’ took the top spot, beating the Number 10 peak of their debut album ‘The Balcony’ in 2014. In a statement the band said the news was “class”. Of course they did.

Elsewhere in the album chart, Architects debut at Number 15, with Flume at 25.

Drake’s ‘One Dance’ stays at Number One in the singles chart for an eighth week – the last record to do that was Rihanna’s ‘Umbrella’. Clean Bandit enter at Number 6 with their new track ‘Tears’.
