Chairlift’s Caroline Polachek has released a surprise instrumental album

‘Drawing The Target Around The Arrow’ is the first new material from Caroline since Chairlift announced their farewell shows
Chairlift’s Caroline Polachek has revealed her debut foray into instrumental music, with new album ‘Drawing The Target Around The Arrow’.



After the Brooklyn duo announced they were parting ways as a group, there was the mention that life after Chairlift would mean more solo-orientated work, and Caroline’s latest project is pretty clear confirmation of that – with the collection being made available for free as a surprise release on Thursday (January 19th).

Chairlift will close out their 12 year career with a run of farewell shows across the US this Spring, with a closing performance currently lined up in their hometown of Brooklyn on April 22nd. Expect the duo (made up of Caroline and Patrick Wimberly) to be making a ton more sounds in the future, ‘cos they ain’t done yet.
