Charli XCX and Troye Sivan have teamed up again, and will debut their latest ‘collab’ on Thursday

They'll perform it 'live' at Go West Fest.

It looks like Charli XCX and Troye Sivan might have another new ‘collab’ on the way, and we’ll get to hear it rather soon indeed.

The duo already joined forces for the boptastic ‘1999’, but from the evidence of their recent ‘twitter activity’, they’re not done yet.

With the promise of five months of new material and a much anticipated arrival for a new album, our Chaz mused: “Imagine if I made another song with Troye Sivan and put it on my album and it was even wilder than 1999….”

To be clear, she’s clearly not imagining. That’s clearly ‘a thing’ which is ‘happening’.

This is because.

a) Troye replied, says “I’m all for tha, Charli… and you know, we ARE both performing at Go West Fest this Thursday…”

b) Charli replied to that, saying “True… maybe we should perform it for the first time on Thursday night at Go West Fest and slaaaayy everyone with our impeccable taste and talent???!!!!!”

and mostly, if we’re honest…

c) She then posted “OK it’s official – performing a brand new song featuring Troye Sivan at Go West Fest on Thursday in LA.”

Our XCX overlord appears to be on somewhat of the collaborative trip of late. As well as her ‘Track 10’ rework ‘Blame It On Your Love’ with Lizzo, she also debuted a new track with Christine and the Queens at Primavera Sound, which we’re all calling ‘Gone’ because – y’know – nothing with Charli isn’t some form of leaked demo of ‘that kind of thing’.

So, there we go. New Charli and Troye will be played ‘in a live scenario’ later this week. Lovely stuff.

and mostly, if we’re honest…
