Check out the first of Oasis’ legendary Mustique Demos

‘Don’t Go Away’ is stripped of the exces with a Noel lead.
Oasis fans of any vintage will have no doubt heard whisper of the Mustique Demos.

Recorded on a Carribbean island by Noel Gallagher and Owen Morris in 1996, they were long thought long lost, but now they’ve been dug up and are seeing the light of day as a remastered special edition of the band’s third album ‘Be Here Now’.

Now, the first has been revealed. ‘Don’t Go Away’ is obviously recognisable as the track which made the record, but with a different mix, stripped of excess and Noel taking the lead, it’s also different enough to be worth a shot on its own terms.
