Mike Skinner has dropped a brand new single as The Streets ahead of a forthcoming UK tour which kicks off early next year.
Titled ‘Call Me In The Morning’, the track is a collaboration with UK rappers Chip (i.e. the artist formerly known as Chipmunk) and Grim Sickers. In the words of the latter, it’s “3 artists from 3 generations giving 32 bars in their own unique form”.
So there we go.
The track has already had a couple of spins across BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra, but is now on streaming services to repeat to your hearts content. A video directed by Mike Skinner himself is also on its way.
A press release also confirms Skinner is working on a feature film to be shot in 2019, and that we should expect more news on both that, and a new album, to follow soon.
