Check out Petal’s new video for ‘Magic Gone’, the title-track from her new album

It features Kiley challenging gender norms.

Petal has released a new video for ‘Magic Gone’, the title-track from her new album.

Speaking of the clip, director H.S. Naji says: “I wanted to explore the difficulties that societal expectations impose on people, particularly regarding gender and how it’s performed.

“Knowing that, for a lot of people, well-being is almost impossible to find within preconceived notions of gender, I wanted to use Kiley’s great acting abilities to express a pivotal realisation and an immense sadness in a mundane environment: that sometimes the weight of existence is just too much to bear (or, bare).”

Petal is set to head out on a UK tour later this year that kicks off in Brighton at the Hope and Ruin on 6th November and includes a night at The Islington in London.

The tour will visit:

NOVEMBER
06 BRIGHTON Hope and Ruin
07 LONDON Islington
09 BRISTOL Crofters Rights
11 BIRMINGHAM Hare and Hounds
12 MANCHESTER Gullivers
13 LEEDS Oporto
14 GLASGOW Hug And Pint
