Copenhagen trio CHINAH have announced their new album, and unveiled a new single from it, ‘What I’ve Become’.
Following on from last year’s ‘Promise’ and ‘Mysterious’, the band’s Fine Glinvad explains: “The song is written in that place where the outer world is completely still, but there’s a torrent of thoughts in your head. It’s about enjoying that internal drama and consider it as important information that tells you what to do.”
Simon Kjær adds: “For this song we wanted to make a small arrangement that also feels big and overwhelming. Aiming for the smallest sound source we could find, we found an old plastic keyboard, with a gritty guitar sound, but treated it as though it was a whole landscape of strings.”
The track is taken from second album ‘Feels Like Forever’, set for release on 19th March.

Hello, ‘Dear Reader’
We’d like to ask you for a small favour. We have never been read by more people (hurrah! – Ed), and yet, thanks to the way the ad-funded media market operates, we earn little (booo! – Ed). This publication costs time, money and work – and with proper foundations, we can continue to invest to make it bigger and better than ever before. If you’re able, we’d love it if you’d consider becoming a supporter today. It’ll only take a minute, and you’ll get loads of extra bits and pieces in return. If you’re unable – don’t worry; most pieces are available to read totally free of charge, and many more supporter only articles will unlock after a period of time. Thank you very much!
