Chlöe Howl has dropped a brand new single.
‘Work’ was produced by her long-time collaborator Chris Zane, and arrives as a taster from studio sessions for her new album.
“I wrote this after watching so many of my incredible friends deal with substandard romances,” Chlöe explains. “It’s kind of a reminder to myself and hopefully others that we don’t owe anybody our time or attention – they have to work for it. I hope people listen to it, feel like they’re the shit and leave that loser on read.”
“I was having a bit of writers block,” she adds, “and so I challenged myself to try something different and pull inspiration from sounds and genres I hadn’t explored before. As soon as my producer and I found the beat, we were so excited that we rushed to the studio and the whole song was finished in a few hours.”
The track follows comeback singles ‘Magnetic’ and ‘Do It Alone’, which arrived after a three-year hiatus.
