Guess what? It’s not only a new single day for Chloe Moriondo (she’s just released her fab new ‘rock chick’ song, ‘I Want To Be With You’, ‘FYI’) – it’s also an appearing-on-the-cover-of-Dork day! Who’d have thought it?
Breaking away from her YouTube star roots, where she made her name bopping out lovely indie-pop covers and the likes, Chloe’s spent the past couple of years embracing her newfound singer-songwriter feet with straight-from-the-heart, immensely relatable tunes, becoming pals with her fellow September cover stars, mxmtoon and Cavetown, along the way.
She’s already more than earned her way to the top of the bedroom-pop playlist pile, but it’s really still just early days for a 17-year-old with miles of potential ahead.
She’s the latest name for this month’s mag we’re announcing, as we compile some of the freshest, most exciting acts on the planet and give them their very own cover. If you want to find out about the first bunch, Cavetown, Arlo Parks, Dominic Fike, mxmtoon, Tate McRae and Wallows, follow the links. That’s how the internet works, after all.
Want to know what else is in this issue? We’ll be revealing the rest of the covers over the next few hours, so follow us on Twitter and/or Instagram to ‘keep up’.
