Chvrches have announced a huge UK tour for 2019

They'll kick off with a show at London's Alexandra Palace in February

Former Dork cover stars Chvrches have announced details of a new UK and Ireland headline tour for early next year.

Titled the ‘Love Is Dead’ tour, after their recent third album, the run will kick off with a huge show at London’s Alexandra Palace on 7th February 2019.

The band will then head off to Birmingham, Bournemouth, Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle, Belfast and Dublin.

A fan pre-sale for the dates starts on Wednesday, 18th July at 9am BST with general sale available from the following Friday (20th July).

Announcing the news, the band also tell fans to “look out for further info”.

Last week, Chvrches announced they’d be bringing fellow Dork cover stars Let’s Eat Grandma on the road with them in Europe.
