Circa Waves are telling you to ‘Wake Up’

You should probably listen. They've brought a banger, and news of a brand new album.
Circa Waves are back, and they’ve got a brand new banger with them.

‘Wake Up’ is the first track (and also track one) from the band’s new album, and debuted on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show as Hottest Record as they prepared to play a special comeback show at London’s Omeara alongside Estrons and King Nun.

The band will release their new album ‘Different Creatures’  on March 10th next year. “It was easier than the first one”, Kieran claims. The album title “doesn’t really make any sense”, he claims, and they’ve had it in the bag for “six, seven months”. There are “three or four songs similar to ‘Wake Up’, but other songs “similar to ‘T-Shirt Weather’ but with more distortion”.

Beefier and bolder than anything they’ve done before, you can read our first impressions of ‘Wake Up’ here, listen on our Spotify Brand New Bangers playlist here, or check it out yourself below.
