Over the weekend, BBC Radio 1 threw a massive party in Hull. City of glittering delights, their Big Weekend packed all kinds of superstar names. Being the BBC, they’ve also shared a whole load of performances in case you missed it as it happened.
With their new album, Circa Waves claimed they wanted to get themselves right to the top of the big festival bills. They might still be on that journey, but the signs they could do it are starting to emerge. Just check out their blast through ‘Wake Up’ below and you’ll see those green shoots poking through. And then burst into glorious flames, because Circa Waves – they aren’t mucking about.
