Clean Cut Kit have dropped a video for their track ‘Emily’.
Alongside ‘Slow Progress’, the song is an early cut from their upcoming ‘Painkiller’ EP, out 22nd October.
“‘Emily’ is us reaching out to a close personal friend who’s in the middle of a storm of depression,” says Mike Halls. “Sometimes the most important thing in that situation is for the world to recognise that you’re not sad, you’re unwell.
“The video is a visual representation of the peaks and troughs of emotion experienced by the main character, juxtaposed by the almost dystopian numbness of our performance.”
The band recently revealed the new batch of dates alongside the hashtag #cckalbum2.
The Give Love Tour will kick off on 22nd November in Glasgow, going on to visit Leeds, Nottingham, Birmingham, Bristol, London and Liverpool.
Clean Cut Kid released their debut album ‘Felt’ in 2017.
