Confirmed! The 1975 will debut ‘Me & You Together Song’ next week

Following the announcement of a new drop last night, we now have confirmation of exactly what we'll get.

Following news that The 1975 will debut a new track next week, we’ve now got confirmation on exactly what we’ll be getting.

The band confirmed last night they’ll be debuting a new cut from forthcoming album ‘Notes On A Conditional Form’ as Hottest Record on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show next Thursday, 16th January.

That was followed up by an Instagram post from frontman Matty Healy that confirmed that we’ll be getting ‘Me & You Together Song’, and the band will be performing it live.

Talking about ‘Me & You Together Song’, Matty Healy told NME: “It’s really lovely, it’s sad of course, but it’s really lovely. I wrote it for that film I started writing…but I haven’t done anything about it besides make this.”

Over the weekend, a call went out for couples to appear in a new video for The 1975; presumably for the same track. That’s set to film on Saturday, 18th January.
