Connie Campsie has released a new track, ‘Uneasy’, taken from her upcoming EP, ‘I’m Still Talking To Myself’.
Connie’s debut EP will drop on 7th February, and she worked on it with friend and collaborator Oscar Lang.
She says of the track: “I had a panic attack on the bus, seemingly out of nowhere. Next thing I know I’m jumping off the bus half an hour before my stop and unsuccessfully running the rest of the way in doc martens to try shaking off the adrenaline. ‘Uneasy’ is about that panic attack, but it’s also just me being like “fuck, this anxiety narrative is so tiring and boring and repetitive”. I’ve had panic attacks since I was really young, and I usually try to be kind to myself when it comes to my mental health, but sometimes it’s just really annoying and impractical. Something I simultaneously love and hate about myself is how soft I am, and in this case I was just done with feeling so delicate.”
