It looks like Courtney Barnett is playing Glastonbury 2022

  • Stephen Ackroyd
  • February 4, 2022

Courtney Barnett has seemingly self-confirmed herself for Glastonbury 2022, as she announces a brand new UK and European tour.

The run – in support of last year’s ‘Things Take Time, Take Time’, will hit the road next June in between stints alongside The National and Foo Fighters.

As well as Glastonbury on the 26th June, she’ll also play headliners in Cardiff, Liverpool and Nottingham. She’ll also be taking in a bunch of European festivals, as well as dates in Birmingham and London alongside Dave Grohl and co.

She’s since changed the poster to remove the Worthy Farm date (oops, etc), but you can check out the full details for the other shows in the tweet below.

New headline shows added!
🔹June 19 – La Laiterie – Strasbourg, France
🔹June 22 – Les Docks – Lausanne, Switzerland
🔹June 29 – Tramshed – Cardiff, UK
🔹June 30 – Invisible Wind Factory – Liverpool, UK
🔹July 1 – Rock City – Nottingham, UK pic.twitter.com/2X0pxIoGSA

She’s not the only new act to be announced for Glastonbury this week, either. While on Clara Amfo’s BBC Radio 1 show on Wednesday night, Emily Eavis confirmed Little Simz will be headlining the West Holts Stage.

Glastonbury is set to take place between the 22nd and 26th June.

The mighty Little Simz to headline West Holts Stage at Glastonbury 2022.. see you there!
