Courtney Barnett’s second album is almost done, apparently

She’s still working on a title.
Courtney Barnett might just about have another album ready to go.

She’s been on the road with Kurt Vile, touring in support of their collaboration ‘Lotta Sea Lice’, but it turns out Courtney might have a second solo record stashed away. In a Beats1 interview with Zane Lowe, she said, “I’m trying to come up with a title for my new album. It’s all one sentence thoughts, you know trying to come up with something clever.” When asked if the follow-up to her 2015 debut ‘Sometimes I Sit and Think and Sometimes I Just Sit’ was finished, Courtney said, “Maybe I gave too much away, but it’s getting close.”

That’ll be good, eh? For now, catch up on her most recent single with Kurt Vile below.
