The Cribs to revisit ‘The New Fellas’ era with special London show

  • Dork News Desk
  • August 17, 2016
The Cribs have announced a unique one-off show at London’s Oval Space this September, with the gig set to revisit 2005’s ‘The New Fellas’ in emphatic style.

The show on September 1st comes after their headline slot at The 1234 Festival folded after the event itself was cancelled a few weeks ago.

As a replacement, things are about to get pretty bloody indie around here.

Talking about the show the band said:

“OK PEOPLE, THIS IS HAPPENING! A one-off, old-skool show in an intimate setting. Classic 2005 era setlist. The Oval Space, Hackney – 1st September. Tickets go on sale at 6PM SHARP from billetto.co.uk/en/events/the-cribs. First come first served.

“This show is for everyone that was disappointed that our headline slot at 1-2-3-4 Festival got cancelled. We were really looking forward to playing London and seeing all you lot, so we wanted to come up with something special to make up for it. In the same vein as the Wichiten show in 2010, or the Cribsmas shows of 2007 and 2013, we will be playing a setlist straight outta our classic New Fellas touring era. It’s gonna be a blast.”

Things are about to get sweaty. Tickets for the show are on sale right about now, so get a move on and nab those tickets!
