Titled The Nearer the Fountain, More Pure the Stream Flows, it sees the Blur frontman inspired by Icelandic landscapes.

Damon Albarn has announced details of a brand new project.

Titled The Nearer the Fountain, More Pure the Stream Flows, it sees the Blur frontman inspired by Icelandic landscapes and takes its name from the John Clare poem Love and Memory.

Featuring orchestral instrumentation, electronics, vocals and piano, it’ll be performed with an ensemble on a tour of European concert halls in May and June 2020.
