Dan from Bastille is answering that mysterious phone number, ‘FYI’

We've got his number, so call him maybe?
Remember a few days ago, when Bastille’s website started listing a phone number?

At first, that was going to voicemail. Until last night.

After debuting new track ‘Quarter Past Midnight’ on the radio, it looks like Dan Smith started picking up. And he’s been saying some interesting stuff.

Fans are nervy that they’ll have to wait until November for the band’s new album, after Dan Smith cut off letting slip its release date on BBC Radio 1. It sounds everyone can calm down, though, as he promised one caller they wouldn’t have to wait that long.

He also made someone’s mum happy. Isn’t that nice?

If you fancy giving him a ring, you can get him on:

UK/International: +44 (0)1158 244 031

US: 929 242 4248

We’re presuming this is how we get interview time with Dan this time round, so we’ll be buzzing his number until he spills everything. Don’t you dare hang up on us, Smith.

In other Bastille news, the band will be on BBC Radio 2 this Saturday morning (12th May), where they’ll play live in session. That’s nice, isn’t it?
