Danielle from NewJeans has debuted her rendition of ‘Part of Your World’ for the forthcoming live-action remake of The Little Mermaid.
Danielle will be providing the voice for the lead character Ariel in the Korean adaptation of the Disney classic.
The newly released music video showcases Danielle, attired in a shimmering light-blue outfit, performing the Korean cover of the song, interspersed with scenes from the film, which is set for release in the United States on May 26th. Halle Bailey, one-half of the sister duo Choe x Halle, will play Ariel, the Mermaid Princess, in the film. The cast also includes Melissa McCarthy as Ursula, Jonah Hauer-King as Prince Eric, with voice talents from Daveed Diggs, Awkwafina, Jacob Tremblay, and others also featured.
In other news, NewJeans is preparing for their first-ever fan meeting, Bunnies Camp, set to take place at the SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium in Seoul on July 1st and 2nd. The event will also be broadcast live online.
NewJeans are also gearing up for new music. Min Hee-jin, the CEO of the group’s label ADOR, has indicated that the quintet’s next release is slated for this summer, though additional details are yet to be disclosed.
