Day6 are set to return as a full group later this year

  • Dan Harrison
  • February 27, 2021

Day6 are set to return as a full group later this year, according to their label JYP Entertainment.

In a statement to XSports News, translated by Soompi, then explain the band are working on new material. “Day6 is preparing a new album. The release schedule will be announced once it is confirmed,” they revealed.

Rumours suggest that the band’s first release as a full group since May 2020’s ‘The Book Of Us: The Demon’ may be due to arrive in April. This follows a period where members Jae and Sungin took time off to focus on their health and well-being. During this time, the remaining three – Young K, Wonpil and Dowoon – formed a sub-unit Even of Day and released a mini album ‘The Book Of Us: Gluon’.

After the news broke, Jae took to Twitch to talk about what was coming up, revealing that he “told you guys, we’ve always been working man.”

"just saw news of day6 comeback, can't wait for it"

jae: i told you guys, we've always been working, man. we're always working… always be working on la musica, you know what i mean? i hope that you guys like this one pic.twitter.com/qpTAD2w3fz
