Deaf Havana have released their new album ‘Rituals’.
The record, previewed by singles such as ‘Sinner’ and ‘Holy’, marks out a new pop direction for the group.
“It feels quite self-indulgent,” says vocalist James Veck-Gilodi of the record. “This is the first time I feel like I have made an album that is all for me, written purely for my own enjoyment. I understand that I might alienate some people who might not ‘get’ the album, but I am so fortunate that the band are behind me all the way. Everyone is super excited to get out on the road and play all these songs live.”
The band will play a show at London’s Brixton Academy on 7th December. Slated as the band’s only headline show for the rest of 2018, it’ll follow set at Reading & Leeds this summer.
