Death Cab For Cutie have announced a new UK and Irish tour

They'll follow up two London shows next week with more dates in early 2019.
Death Cab For Cutie are set for a UK and Irish tour next year.

The band, who announced their new album ‘Thank You For Today’ earlier this week, will hit Dublin, Manchester, Glasgow, Nottingham, Leeds, Bristol and London in January and February of 2019.

That comes after a couple of London shows next week, one at the Royal Festival Hall as part of Robert Smith’s Meltdown Festival on 18th June, with a second at the Scala on the 19th.

‘Thank You For Today’ sees the band teaming up once again with Rich Costey, and sees Ben Gibbard, Nick Harmer, and Jason McGerr joined in the studio by new members Dave Depper and Zac Rae. Both have been part of Death Cab’s touring band since 2015.

The follow up to 2015’s ‘Kintsugi’ is set to arrive on 17th August. Check out the video for the first single from the record, ‘Gold Rush’, plus those new live dates below.
