Death Cab For Cutie have dropped a new video for ‘Gold Rush’

It's the first single from new album 'Thank You For Today'.
Fresh off announcing new album ‘Thank You For Today’, Death Cab For Cutie have dropped a video for its lead single, ‘Gold Rush’.

The clip for the first track to arrive from the record features Ben Gibbard performing the song in an increasingly crowded cityscape.

‘Thank You For Today’ sees the band teaming up once again with Rich Costey, and sees Gibbard, Nick Harmer, and Jason McGerr joined in the studio by new members Dave Depper and Zac Rae. Both been part of Death Cab’s touring band since 2015.

The follow up to 2015’s ‘Kintsugi’ is set to arrive on 17th August. Before then, Death Cab For Cutie are set to hit the UK later this month, playing Robert Smith’s Meltdown Festival on 19th June before following up with a relatively intimate show at London’s Scala a day later on 20th June.
