Declan McKenna’s new single ‘Bethlehem’ is only going to build the buzz

If you can sing about religion and get away with it, you're doing something right.
Declan McKenna is a young man going places.

His third release, ‘Bethlehem’, has just peaked its head out of the new music trenches, he did ‘rather well’ at this year’ SXSW and is about to appear on US telly.

Then again, when listening to the previously mentioned, James Ford produced track, it’s easy to see why. Singer songwriters can sometimes be ‘a bit much’. Not our Declan though. He’s singing about religion, which isn’t always the best idea, and still manages to turn it into a bit of pop gold.
