Del Water Gap has shared a new single, ‘Losing You’.

Following on from ‘All We Ever Do Is Talk’, it’s the latest cut from his upcoming new album ‘I Miss You Already + I Haven’t Left Yet’, set for release on 29th September via Mom + Pop.

Del Water Gap explains: “Losing You” is the first song I wrote for my album. This song is about the feeling of hearing words escape your mouth that you regret the moment they hit the air. It’s about being scared and digging your heels. I wrote this song literally minutes after walking away from a fight with a person I was seeing at the time. I threw down the phone and walked into Sammy’s studio for the first time and had started to cool off and it hit me that maybe… I was wrong. I’ve had trouble opening up in the past, and I find that openness can come with immense fear and insecurity. This song is also about wanting to be liked, not just loved, by the person you call your own. It’s about the way that conflict makes us regress, the ugliness that we inherit from our parents, and that the ultimate act of love can be admitting that you’re wrong.”
