Diarrhea Planet announce new album ‘Turn to Gold’

The record is previewed by a new song, 'Life Pass', which is streaming online now.
Diarrhea Planet will release their third full-length this summer.

Out on June 10th, ‘Turn to Gold’ is the follow-up to 2013’s ‘I’m Rich Beyond Your Wildest Dreams’ and 2014’s ‘Aliens in the Outfield’ EP.

The news of the Nashville band’s first album in almost three years comes alongside a new track, ‘Life Pass’, which is streaming online now.

“Part of the benefit of us working with Vance again is that his whole thing is it’s gotta be big, it’s gotta be live, it’s gotta sound raw,” guitarist Evan Bird to Buzzfeed. “Some of the stuff that we did with [Kevin McMahon, who produced I’m Rich] was so cool, but we couldn’t reproduce it live.” For his part, Powell has described Turn to Gold as “stoner ear candy.”
