Dirty Hit newcomers The Candescents introduce themselves in style with debut cut ‘Boyfriend’

If you’ve just been signed to Dirty Hit, that’s usually a good sign in these parts – and that’s clear with the sounds of newcomers The Candescents and their infectious debut cut ‘Boyfriend’



Doe-eyed love reigns supreme, blending cutdown guitars and surf-inspired US grunge for the sort of combination that has you well and truly setting up shop with the repeat button. Based in Ohio, they recently supported a band called Pale Waves (who you may have heard of) and they’ll be spending their summer out and about with We Are Scientists across the States too.



With a debut EP set to land this summer, they’re ones to keep ya eye on that’s for sure – with UK shows sure to be on the horizon soon (right? please?)
