Dizzy’s melancholy new pop tune will get you right in the feels

It's about saying goodbye.
Ontario group Dizzy have shared a lovely but super sad new single called ‘Joshua’, full of broken-hearted reflection.

“This song is a goodbye to someone who left my life unexpectedly,” singer Katie Munshaw tells Stereogum. “There’s a constant buzzing in your entire body after a relationship ends without closure. At first it chatters through to your teeth and bones, but eventually it dwindles down to a soft humming in a secret hiding spot in your heart. Coping. This song is “Goodbye, and thank you. I hope you’re well. This is what’s happened since you disappeared on me.””

On a slightly more cheery note, the band are over to play London and The Great Escape later this month. Catch them at:

MAY

16 Omeara, London (w/ Nombe, San Scout, and Aaron Taylor)

18 The Great Escape, Brighton
