Doja Cat has reiterated her plans to quit music.

It follows a series of recent tweets following a festival appearance, before later retracting the comments to say she would continue.

Currently on tour in South America, she was set to play Paraguay’s Asunciónico festival last Tuesday (22nd March). However, high winds and weather warnings caused the performance to be cancelled, with fans upset the star didn’t meet them outside her hotel.

In response to that, she tweeted: “it’s gone and i don’t give a fuck anymore. i fuckin quit i can’t wait to fucking disappear and i don’t need you to believe in me anymore. Everything is dead to me, music is dead, and i’m a fucking fool for ever thinking i was made for this this is a fucking nightmare unfollow me.”

She followed up a few days later apologising for the tweets. However, she’s now doubled down, replying to a tweet from Florida radio station MIX 105.1.

To a tweet that reads: “Ok so maybe @DojaCat isn’t retiring,” she responded: “Yes the fuck I am”.
