One of Britain’s greatest bands of all time, we’re delighted to welcome blur to the cover of Dork for our August 2023 edition.
Damon, Graham, Alex and Dave are back with their ninth studio album, ‘The Ballad of Darren’. Coming hot on the heels of two massive Wembley Stadium shows that drew rave reviews, it’s a record that proves they’re a band as important and relevant as ever.
With the story of how they ended up back together, eight years after their last album, and with so much new material in their back pocket, they’re a band with a storied past who still have a serious future. That is if they can stop Damon Albarn from going off to write “another f**king opera”. Alex James’ words, not ours.
blur are the first of three cover acts for our latest edition. We’ll be revealing the other two, plus the packed full issue lineup, in the coming days.
You can pre-order the blur edition of Dork here, and it’ll dispatch before the 4th August, or subscribe and get the print edition sent directly to your door every month here.
