The Japanese House is the latest cover star we’re revealing for our July 2023 edition.
Amber Bain first featured on the cover of the magazine right back on issue 5, with her latest appearance marking the completion of her Dork hat-trick. It’s a deserved accolade, too. New record ‘In The End It Always Does’ is a high bar for an artist who regularly exceeds lofty expectations. An album of the year contender, if ever there was one, it’s a layered, immersive work that resonates on a profound, human level.
In our new edition, you’ll find an extensive interview and a photoshoot with Amber. There’s much more to find inside too. We’ll be revealing all over the next few days before the full thing drops on Friday, 16th June.
The Japanese House is the second of three cover acts for our latest edition, following yesterday’s announcement of our Maisie Peters fronted variant. We’ll be revealing the final cover, plus the packed full issue line up, in the coming days.
You can pre-order the Japanese House edition of Dork here, and it’ll dispatch before the 7th July, or subscribe and get the print edition sent directly to your door every month here.
