Please stand by… Introducing the new issue of Dork, featuring cover stars Wolf Alice

This month, we’re delighted to welcome one of the very best bands on the planet back to the cover of Dork. Wolf Alice are an act like no other, something only confirmed by their stunning (yes, stunning – Ed) new album ‘Blue Weekend’. Fast approaching on the horizon for a June 11th release, it’s great to have them back where they belong.

Elsewhere in the new issue of Dork, we’re buzzing off some of the best new talent. There’s the brilliantly weird and wonderful Squid – one of whom is definitely a hen for “non musical reasons”, former Dork cover star and fast rising megastar in waiting Chloe Moriondo, and NiNE8 mastermind and flippin’ fantastic solo artist in her own right Lava La Rue. We’re not done there, though – there’s also Isle of Wight indie darlings Coach Party and Lauran Hibberd, a quick cuppa at The Night Café, the majestic Kero Kero Bonito, K-pop sensation Wonho and the dreamy Dreamer Boy. Don’t say we don’t spoil you.

Add to that our introductions to a whole heap of fresh faces in our essential new music section Hype – including Courting, Boys World, Deb Never and Hauskey – an artist’s guide to Alfie Templeman‘s new mini-album, a day spent with Biig Piig and a random grilling of up-and-coming popster UPSAHL, and there’s enough to keep you busy for another month, right? Right.

Order a print copy

You can order the new issue of Dork right now here, or subscribe and get the print edition sent directly to your door every month here. However, if you want even more from us, right now, we’re also delighted to reveal our brand new Dork Supporters scheme.

If you like what we do, we’re making available a new section of the site for those who wish to support us by signing up to a new monthly or annual subscription package. Different from our previous print-only subscriptions, the Dork Supporters scheme allows you to get early access to all our print content in digital form as soon as the issue launches, read digital versions of every single edition of Dork right back to issue 1, and get occasional exclusive extras too. You can sign up for digital-only or digital + print packages, which will give you immediate access. You can find more information here.

And don’t worry if you’re not signing up. You’ll still get everything you did before, as digital versions of our print content unlock to be read free of charge throughout the month. Enjoy!
