Pier we go! Dork is off to the seaside with The Great Escape for a showcase featuring VLURE, Swim School, Malady and more

This May, Dork is off to the seaside for The Great Escape, where we’ll be taking over the end of Brighton pier for a special showcase of new music, featuring VLURE, Swim School, Malady, Kills Birds and Unschooling.

Setting up camp at Horatio’s on the opening Thursday of the festival (12th May), it’s part of a whole load of exciting acts playing this year’s Great Escape, including MUNA, Yard Act, The Amazons, spill tab, Thomas Headon, Alfie Templeman, NOAHFINNCE, ENNY, Willow Kayne and loads, loads more.

Before we even get to Brighton, we’re kicking off with two special Dork’s Night Out x The Great Escape preview shows at London’s 100 Club. The first takes place tonight (21st April), featuring Opus Kink, Malady and L’Objectif (Tickets), with a second including Peaness, Molly Payton and Sad Boys Club taking place next Thursday, 28th April (Tickets)

The Great Escape takes place between 12th and 14th May, featuring more than 450 acts across more than 35 Brighton venues. Tickets are on sale now from greatescapefestival.com.
