Yep, after dabbling in the medium during Homeschool earlier this month, we’ve taken the plunge. Dork is taking to the airwaves proper with semi-regular, ad-hoc Dorkcasts, starting with the first edition of our weekly radio-show-slash-podcast-slash-magazine-show Down With Boring.
Hosted by our intrepid Dork scribblers Jamie Muir and Jake Hawkes, it features the latest news (Tribes are back! Joff from Wolf Alice is noodling! Everything Everything return!), our album of the week (HRH Queen of Pop Charli XCX, ‘FYI’) and an in-depth investigation into exactly how Arctic Monkeys could do better. Plus other stuff.
The first episode will go out tonight at 8pm on Dork Radio, and will be available to listen on demand immediately afterwards via Mixcloud here. It will also be available in podcast form, as soon as the relevant outlets do their bit and add it to their various directories. We’ll keep you updated on that via our Twitter.
