Dream Wife, Anna Meredith lead new names for Are You Listening? Festival

The Reading multi-venue bash is celebrating its fifth birthday in fine style
Dream Wife and Anna Meredith lead a chunky batch of new names confirmed for this year’s Are You Listening? Festival.

Amongst a slew of other additions, these names join previously confirmed hitters such as Spring King, The Big Moon, Bad Sounds, Shame, Kagoule, Matt Maltese and many more for a corking day of live music and blistering favourites on April 22nd.

Taking place across multiple venues in the centre of Reading, the festival is all in support of Reading Mencap, providing information, support and respite services for children and adults with learning difficulties, disabilities and autistic spectrum disorders. It also serves to support the local Reading music scene, with at least 70% of the bookings from the Reading and Berkshire area.

The festival this year is also raising awareness for Girls Against, a group focused on standing up against sexual harassment and assaults that take place at live music shows.

We’re jumping on board for the ride too, so expect to see more pieces and information over the coming weeks as Are You Listening? gets closer and closer. We’ve already got our bags packed for it, can we just go early to get our spot?

Tickets for the festival are on sale now
