Dream Wife get spooky in ‘Lolita’ video

Think you know horror movies, well - this will be right up your street.
We all like a scary movie right? Well Dream Wife certainly do, as shown by the fresh new video for EP favourite ‘Lolita’.

The Icelandic trio get well and truly involved in the plot, playing a variety of characters and showing that there’s no such thing as a bad horror movie – especially if it’s all shot through hand-held cameras.

Speaking about the video to The FADER, the band said:

“The idea for the video came from a distaste toward the classic virginal female victim narrative, the damsel in distress scenario”

“The intention was to make something both playful and angry, toying with many conventional horror movie moments in an unconventional, empowering, silly and scary way.”

They certainly did that.

After lodging themselves firmly in our heads with their debut EP ‘EP01’ earlier in the year, Dream Wife will be back touring the UK with Black Honey in October.

Grab the popcorn and settle in front of ‘Lolita’ below, whilst booking to see them at the live dates listed of course?
