Dua Lipa, Anne-Marie and Rag ‘N’ Bone Man are all up for next year’s BRITS Critics Choice award.
The new music tip has had a past in predicting the next big future stars, with previous winners including Adele, Florence + The Machine, Ellie Goulding, Jack Garratt and James Bay amongst others.
Speaking about the nomination, Dua Lipa said:
“This is the highlight of my year. I’ve hit a lot of milestones this year, from performing at Glastonbury, to doing my own European tour… this is the icing on the cake.”
Anne-Marie commented:
“I actually can’t believe I am nominated for this amazing award. This is so sick. To everyone who voted for me I am so grateful and humbled, here’s to 2017!”
And Rag ‘N’ Bone Man said:
“It’s bonkers that I’ve been nominated for Critics’ Choice. Absolutely bonkers. I’ve been grafting, I built a strong fanbase over the years with help from good people that put their faith in me. And now this! I’m very grateful.”
You won’t have to wait long to find out the winner either, with that being announced on December 8th – so no need to fuss around and wait eh!
The BRITS themselves are set to take place on February 22nd, with this year’s edition hosted by suave crooner Michael Buble.
