Dua Lipa has dropped her new single, ‘Dance The Night’, which features on the soundtrack for the forthcoming Barbie movie.
The track is a typically Dua-flavoured disco-tinged banger which leads off a soundtrack including HAIM, Charli XCX, Tame Impala, Ice Spice, Khalid, Lizzo, Nicki Minaj, and Ryan Gosling, who stars as Ken in the movie. Overseen by executive producer Mark Ronson, the record will be available on July 21st, alongside the theatrical release of the Greta Gerwig-directed flick, which stars Margot Robbie as Barbie.
Dua Lipa, who appears in the movie as Mermaid Barbie, last released a full-length album in 2020, ‘Future Nostalgia’, followed by a huge world tour, wrapping up in late 2022. Listen to ‘Dance The Night’ below.
