Elder Island premiere striking new video for ‘Bamboo’

Elder Island have released a new video for ‘Bamboo’ – check it out below, first on Dork.

The Bristol trio’s latest sparkling dance-pop number is taken from their new EP ‘Seeds in Sand’. The accompanying video was inspired by frontwoman Katy David’s travels around Japan, featuring projections of images she captured while there.

“I feel the video worked out as a success in its subtlety and simplicity,” she says. “Trying to figure out how to achieve something that will be visually stimulating but with no money and time can be difficult but the constraints can make you think differently and experiment a little more. In the end it was a lot of fun to make, although I wouldn’t recommend staring into a bright light for that long, was pretty dazzled by the end.”
