Ellur has shared a video for her new single ‘Anywhere’.

The track – out now via Dance to the Radio – was co-written with Circa Waves’ Kieran Shudall and produced by Rich Turvey, and arrives ahead of a support slot with The Big Moon and Live At Leeds: In The Park.

She says of the clip: “Inspired by Forrest Gump and Beyoncè’s strict vocal training regime (running and singing on a treadmill), I decided that running around my home town and singing was the perfect way to capture the meaning of ‘Anywhere’. I once read a quote by author Kamand Koujouri “I will look for you in every lifetime and love you there” and that really inspired the narrative of the video. All the different ‘lifetimes’ are represented in each different shot.

“I’ve always been a romantic and this song and this video is a nod towards that. I believe that humans are natural romantics and everything we do, we do for love. We’d go anywhere and everywhere for love. (Super soppy. Ewww).

“It was an unbelievably fun and incredibly exhausting day and I think I definitely put my team through their paces and I love them for their dedication to helping me actualise all my weird and crazy ideas.”

Check it out below.
