Elton John has showered Nova Twins with praise ahead of their performances at Glastonbury.
In an interview with BBC Radio 1’s Clara Amfo, he expressed his admiration for the duo, stating that their energy is so powerful that it could “light up Sheffield.”
“These girls rock my world. I’ve had them on the [Apple Music Radio] show, I’ve played their music, too,” he added. “It’s so wonderful, what they do. I’m so looking forward to seeing them live because you can feel what it’s going to be like. They are just, for me, phenomenal.”
Upon hearing the words of praise from Elton John, the Nova Twins took to social media to express their gratitude. They shared a video clip of the interview, accompanied by a caption expressing their excitement and appreciation for being chosen as one of Elton John’s top four acts to watch at Glastonbury. They promised to deliver the “show of their lives” on Sunday when they take the Other Stage at 1:45pm.
