Icon. King. Musician?

Manchester United and France football legend Eric Cantona is set to take to the stage this October, making his live debut as a musician.

Playing three shows in Manchester, London and Dublin – titled ‘Cantona Sings Eric’ – the tour will “bring his great passion for music to life through expression and live performance”.

Presales for the dates start on Wednesday 31st May at 10am local time, with general sale starting on Friday, 2nd June at 10am local time.

Eric is also set to drop his first single – written and composed himself – via Decca Records next Friday (2nd June).

‘Next year, I’ll be playing with a band, but for now, I’m starting with a modest piano to play alongside me in intimate venues,” Eric offers. “I’ll be starting in Manchester because it’s a city that has stayed with me so much for the football, of course, but also the general atmosphere.’

The dates read:

October
26 Manchester Stoller Hall
28 London Bloomsbury Theatre
31 Dublin Liberty Hall
