Ethel Cain is set to give an official release her fan-fave SoundCloud upload, ‘famous last words (an ode to eaters)’

The song, inspired by the Luca Guadagnino-directed film Bones and All, was initially uploaded by Cain in November last year.

Ethel Cain has announced the official release of a fan-favourite track that was previously shared on SoundCloud, ‘famous last words (an ode to eaters)’.

The song, inspired by the Luca Guadagnino-directed film Bones and All, was initially uploaded by Cain in November last year, just a day after the film’s release.

“Can’t stop thinking abt ‘Bones and All’,” Ethel Cain wrote on SoundCloud. “This one’s for Lee and Maren” – referring to the characters played by Timotheé Chalamet and Taylor Russell in the film. This was her first new music following the release of her fourth studio album ‘Preacher’s Daughter’ earlier in the year.

Now, nine months after its initial online debut, Cain has announced via her social media channels that the track will be officially released tomorrow, 21st July.
