Ethel Cain has released her single ‘famous last words (an ode to eaters)’.
The song, inspired by the Luca Guadagnino-directed film Bones and All, was initially uploaded to SoundCloud by Cain in November last year, just a day after the film’s release.
Today’s release is accompanied by a video directed by Hayden Anhedönia (Ethel Cain) and Silken Weinberg, as the first single from Givenchy creative director Matthew Williams’ new 1017 ALYX 9SM collaboration project.
“Can’t stop thinking abt ‘Bones and All’,” Ethel Cain wrote upon the song’s initial release. “This one’s for Lee and Maren” – referring to the characters played by Timotheé Chalamet and Taylor Russell in the film.
